An ordinary day
begins with waking up, showering and getting
ready for work. If there's something to look
forward to in the evening then I would
prepare accordingly. But today, there's
nothing to look forward to after work. Only
rest.
An ordinary day goes
on with me going to work, and eventually
doing tasks that I normally do at work.
Lunch time would come and I would head out
for lunch. Yet today I felt was different,
special in a good way, and I treated myself
to a luxury lunch.
A normal day ends
with me heading somewhere, usually an outing
with friends or climbing somewhere. But
today I had nowhere to go but home. With no
rush, I took a bus. A journey home by bus
will cost me 1 hour of my life. A journey
home by train takes up only 40 minutes of my
life.
Yet today is not an
ordinary day. Not for me, not for my
siblings, not parents, especially my father.
Today... my
grandmother passed away.
